The Agricultural Trade Office (ATO) Beijing is the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) overseas trade promotion office, located in the U.S. Embassy Beijing.
Our region includes: Beijing, Tianjin, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Shandong, Henan, Qinghai, Gansu, Ningxia, and Xinjiang. Our core function is to assist U.S. agricultural, food, seafood, and forest products exporters in the North China market; facilitate trade to China; and introduce new food and beverage products to Chinese importers, distributors, and consumers. ATO Beijing also endeavors to introduce American cuisine and food styles to Chinese customers. We work closely with Chinese industry associations at the national level, as well as leaders in food service sectors, e-commerce, retail sectors, and food processing sectors in the North China market. We also work with various U.S. agricultural, food, seafood and forest products associations and their representatives in China to promote U.S.-originated products in North China. Our activities include trade shows, product inquires, and themed promotional events in different channels.
